About Orthotics
A Custom Foot Orthotic is an insole designed to optimize your foot and lower body biomechanics. Orthotics are a critical component of the external environment that lies under your feet. They are used to treat foot and lower limb injuries such as:
- Plantarfasciosis (commonly called Plantarfasciitis)
- Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome (commonly called shin spints)
- Metatarsalgia (forefoot pain)
- Morton's Neuroma
- Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome
- Knee pain
- IT band pain (Iliotibial Band)
- Arch pain
- Hip, pelvis, or Low Back Pain
At Footjax we do a full assessment including:
- Gait analysis
- Biomechanical assessment
- 3D cast of your foot
